Water levels can fluctuate due to seasonal changes, dam releases, or weather conditions. Adjusting the water level offset on your Humminbird Helix ensures that your maps reflect the current conditions accurately.
-
Accessing Water Level Offset: From any view, press the Menu Key twice to access the HB Chart tab. Scroll to Water Level Offset.
-
Setting the Offset: Use the scroll pad to adjust the water level. Positive numbers indicate the water level is above normal, while negative numbers mean it’s below normal.
-
Automatic Adjustments: Once set, the Helix will automatically adjust contour lines and color palette shading to reflect the current water level, ensuring that your maps are accurate.
