Get Schooled
Welcome to Fishfinder Coach, your ultimate resource for mastering fishfinding technology. With years of competitive fishing experience and numerous accolades, Hugh Cosculluela is here to share his insights with you. Having used fishfinders from all major brands—Lowrance, Humminbird, and Garmin—Hugh’s expertise spans across the industry’s best. This deep understanding has helped him and his clients consistently catch more fish.

The Why
Sharing my passion for fishing with others is what drives me. There is a real need for teaching others about fishing and sonar. There's something incredibly fulfilling about seeing the joy and satisfaction on a client’s face as they reel in their catch. My goal is to spread that enthusiasm and help as many people as possible experience the thrill of fishing. I hope to instill confidence in your fishing and sonar reading skills.

If You're Skeptical - Read This First
If your electronics were dialed in and you were happy with what you’re seeing,
you wouldn’t still be searching for answers.
I know how this goes. You’ve already:
- Spent serious money on your fishfinder
- Tried tweaking settings but you’re still not confident
- Watched YouTube after YouTube and every “expert” says something different
- Seen perfect demo screenshots online but your screen doesn’t look like that on the water
That’s exactly why Fishfinder Coach exists.
I’m on the water every week, guiding and testing on Garmin, Lowrance, and Humminbird units in real conditions, not factory defaults.
If you're skeptical, good. You should be.
Just know this, every single review on this site came from someone who felt exactly like you do right now.
When your screen finally makes sense, that skepticism turns into confidence real quick.
