The PDF provides solid guidance on sonar settings for the Garmin GT56. It’s originally designed for U.S. bass fishing, so some presets aren’t perfectly suited for European freshwater predators like perch, pike, and zander. Still, the recommended settings are a clear improvement over the factory defaults and serve as an excellent starting point for fine-tuning your own setup. Overall, very useful — just not perfectly optimized for European conditions.

A short 37 page PDF looks like it might save me from selling my Livescope accessory. Simple, easy to use explanation of the settings and especially the correct direction to point the transducer. Finally, he’s included recommended settings for Both the LVS-32 and the 34 model…at least a place to start. Thanks!
