When you download a file on an iPhone, it usually saves to your Files app, not your Photos or Safari.

Here’s how to find it:

1. Open the Files app
2. Tap “Browse” at the bottom
3. Go to “Downloads” or tap “Recents”
4. Your PDF should be there and can be opened, saved, or shared from that location

Tip: You can also use the search bar in the Files app to look for the name of the file (e.g., “Humminbird Settings Guide”).

The PDF settings guides are strictly settings, what they are, how to adjust them, and the exact or range that we suggest for your transducer.

The video courses are universal video courses that go over how to read and use different sonars. They go over general settings but will not give exact settings.

It depends on what you want to learn, most people opt for both for complete mastery.

This guide is for Humminbird XPLORE units using Compact MEGA Imaging.

Only Apex and Xplore units are compatible with MEGA Live 2.

Humminbird Apex, Solix, and Helix units will work with the MEGA Live 1 transducer.

The Eagle Eye 9 is the only compatible unit for our settings guide. There is a difference between he Eagle 9 and the Eagle Eye 9.

This guide is for the shared Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer. It supports Lowrance HDS Live, HDS Carbon, Elite Ti2, Elite FS, HDS Pro, and HDS Gen 3 systems using that transducer, plus compatible Simrad GO XSE, NSX, NSS evo3, and NSS evo3S systems. Match the installed transducer and sonar connection rather than assuming compatibility from the display brand alone.

Lowrance HDS Pro supports Active Imaging HD directly; supported HDS Live, HDS Carbon, and Elite FS systems use an S3100 sonar module. A sonar-equipped Simrad NSS 4 can connect directly. Supported Simrad NSX, NSS, and NSO systems may require an S3100 or S3100H. Verify the installed transducer and sonar source rather than assuming universal Simrad compatibility.

Our PDF settings guides are compatible with the Active Target system used on HDS Pro, HDS Live, HDS Carbon, and Elite FS units.
