Before this course, I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between a fish and a rock on my 2D sonar. Everything just looked like random blobs and arches and I kind of guessed at what I was looking at.
When he said how he looks for fish and what they look like, it clicked for me.
The on-the-water sections were probably the most helpful part for me, seeing him actually scroll over fish and explain it in real time clicked way harder than just screenshots.
The graphics and little animations he added showing where the fish are in the cone helped a ton too. I had been using the wrong frequency.
I went out last weekend after finishing the course and I was picking fish out so much easier. I wish I had something like this when I first got my unit.
